“If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.”
1 Cor 3:17
“For through him we both have access by one Spirit to the FATHER. Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief cornerstone, in whom the whole building, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.” Ephesians 2:18-22
The temple that God seeks to dwell in is located within your heart. It is not made of man-made materials. About twenty people having this “heart for God” characteristic gathered together at the physical altar of God inside the church’s physical building to dance, praise and worship God. As we lifted up our holy hands unto God, we pressed into HIS Holy of Holies for closer fellowship. I was one of those people. As we pressed in closer to HIM, our goal was to simply lose our self. To lose our own identity and to allow HIS Spirit to have its way with us. As our individuality faded, God’s glory increased and HIS presence increased. No one can press into God’s Spirit like this and stand on his or her own feet for very long. Soon, I was gone. Crashed to the floor like others and totally into HIS presence. I have fallen down on concrete floors and even flew 5-7 feet back from a physical altar to the floor. All without any harm because for me, I was simply letting go of myself and letting God have HIS way with me. I was “pressing in.”
The services were awesome and the sheer presence of God Almighty was so very powerful. Many thought it was the music being played; some thought it was the choir singing. Naive pastors think it is their own talents or the power of their own “anointing.” I remember one time the volume of singing and the chorus voices I heard was so overwhelming in praise to God
